Pictures of a 1972 GY8 New Yorker 4dr hardtop

CS43T2C306134 recently sold on eBay for almost $7.4k. Other than a non-working A/C and some very minor quibbles (a hard-to-see crease on the front fender and a mini-ding on the left rear quarter; a power antenna switch that is loose and an antenna that goes down but not up; a radio that has a hard time picking stations; and a slowish driver-side rear window -- all the others are perfect, and so is the power seat), this ´72 NYB was really in superb shape. The interior seems to have been every bit as nice as the pictures show -- no rip, tear or stain anywhere. The underside looked spotless. The only thing it needed (other than the H53 fix) were new tires, and the usual belts/hoses/etc.

Given the price paid, there is hope that this beautiful Brougham went to a good home. Here are a few pictures for records.

Nope. I did like it a lot, and I do not mind GY8, but I decided to be patient and wait for the right color.

And you are looking specifically for a '72...?

There are a few models that I really like. The ‘72 NYB is one of them. The ‘71 Imperial is another. The ‘69 and ‘70 Chrysler ‘verts come next. I already have my two favorite fusies, Poppy and Medina, so I can be patient

Production will be limited to a very few of this color. I think the number is 560.
