This was old idea but tested and worked quite well with this "OldWorkingHorse". We used same kind unit with this compressor in that garage where I was part of the group of friends.
All you need is copper pipe, refrigerator and one air tank..
First air goes compressor air tank then to a "cooling unit " and after that another tank where remaining water should drop because its dropping downwards in that copper spiral.
This cost me around 200 euros and new proper dryer cost 1200 euros , and now there's lots of things to put that 1000...
Okay, it's not a "real" airdryer but still works quite well. Needs also proper good quality filter unit before air piping. ..and yes, I put a door back on after testing ;).
