Power door locks...

Ok sorry if it has been discussed but did a search and didn't find my answer.

i want to buy the power door locks for my 68 300. Dumb question. Is there a switch somewhere you need or do they work off each other? Basically if you pull up on one the other moves with it. Really don't need them as I can't remember last time I even put the top up but it is an option I do not have.

how would they be wired? Obviously they are hot but is there a a certain wire it run to the other door to activate the other?

Appreciate any info! There is a set on eBay I may bid on.

I might be able to help a little. The door lock knob actuates the lock motors, but there is a switch that connects to the lock knob. The door lock rods are a little different. The system worked from a relay & circuit breaker behind the pass side kick panel. Years ago I bought a lock kit from J C Whitney that was fairly easy to install, that might be a better idea if you don't need to be 100% original. The lock switches can be hard to find.
