power steering to manual steering conversion

What do I all need to convert from power to manual steering on my 65 New Yorker? As far as I can tell I will need the gearbox and steering shaft adapter. Is this all I need?

You may need a different idler but that is easy to check, if the steering gear doesn't have a pitman arm you will need that as well they are typically different.

There are a few places that sell that adapter, not sure thay have one for C-Bodies

I believe the steering box has large diameter splines on the sector shaft which you may have to fine a C body box because that might be the only pitman arm that will fit. Some one with a parts manual can confirm this for you.

I found a new c body manual gear box. That isn't an issue. I just want to make sure I get everything I need right away.

Looking to clean up the engine bay and shave 30 pounds off the front.
