Hi my 65 300L convertible power windows are frozen in the closed position. i know there is pwoer going to them because the gauge moves when you hit the switch. Is there aftermarket or later year Mopar motors that are plug and play im not sure if ive asked this before and it seems like a good garage winter project along with my Valdez leaking power steering unit uhg! Thanks

Here's some reading on troubleshooting what you have. https://www.chrysler300club.com/tech/65windows.pdf

I took apart the ones on my '70, which I think are the same as the '65. My repair was simply cleaning it out and getting the brushes to make good contact. I'll bet it's not much more work than trying to fit some aftermarket piece that isn't as good as the original.

Power Window Motor Repair

I have made M body (Fifth Ave, Diplomat, etc.) window motors work by switching brakets and connectors. A trip to a junkyard may get you something, check th eback doors since they tend to be used less often.
