I had a disc brake conversion done on my '66 Coronet 20 years ago. The car has never really stopped great, with or without the disc brakes. The fronts are off a '73 Duster. The rears are the stock '66 11" drums. Right now, all I have is braking action off the rears. No front braking at all. I remember the proportioning valve off the Duster was used, but I'll be damned if I can remember what that looks like! I'm quite certain the valve is the culprit.

Found it and removed it from the car. It barely flows, so it got plugged to the point where the fronts were nearly cut off. I could still bleed them with more effort than there needs to be.

I'm ordering a new adjustable valve tomorrow.

Can I just say @patrick66 that I hate working on brakes? Hope it works out for you.
