Anyone have information on replacing the proportioning valve, (68 Fury, Drum/Drum, manual brakes)? A source for new or used would be appreciated. I think the B body valve is the same but the mounting bracket is different. Any thoughts?

By using the Search engine, this thread popped up. It's long but by reading it through you will become a proportioning valve expert.
Enjoy.
Rear brake is driving me nuts...

There is no proportioning valve in a drum/drum Fury.

You might be looking at the safety switch. Consult your FSM.

if you have a single pot MC then it is a simple distribution block.
But I'm pretty sure that you car would have had a dual manual M/C so it would have an "enhanced distribution block with a a built in metering valve and idiot light switch to warn you if you have lost one of the other braking systems due to a leak.

Having stated the above there in many suppliers that can help you out if your s if stuck in one or the other position

Classic Industries | Restoration Parts | Mopar Parts | Camaro Parts | Firebird Parts | Nova Parts | Impala Parts | GM Truck Parts | Tri-Five Chevy Parts is a great place to start for new.

Drum/drum car won't have a disc brake metering valve.

This guy explains all the valves. The drum/drum safety switch/distribution block explanation comes in starting at about 4:20.

Drum/drum car won't have a disc brake metering valve.

That is correct what John is saying here.
The drum/drum car would not ever had a Disc/drum metering valve.

Again being drum/drum there still is some metering going on with a dual pot M/C
I had to hunt down a 67 drum/drum distribution block to get my rear brakes to balance with the fronts.
Simply splitting the single pot line into 2 lines didn't cut it. My rear brakes locked up under heavier braking.
It was explained to me that the drum/drum distribution block has different sized drilled holes to restrict the rear brake pressure.
