may be chrome was toast so he had it blasted off and just repainted instead of chroming to save a few bucks

They don't look like they were chrome to begin with. I kind of like the painted whee. What color and manufacturer of paint did you use?

I don't know the guy I bought them from said they came on his fathers car just the way you see them. unfortunately he let the other 2 go

1970 Sport Fury GTs and probably other Plymouths that year with the road wheel option did not come with chrome road wheels. They were painted silver. The domes you used on your road wheels seem to be the AMC versions with the smaller serrated ends compared to the Chrysler ones. But few notice.

Yeah not a fan of chrome I have spent way to much money getting things chromed because they are supposed to be chrome but decided not this time! this will be a driver not a looker

Two are 7 inch former "salon" wheels (the ones he started the thread with) and 2 are "normal" 6.5 inch road wheels...I guess the non chrome variant...or he painted over the chrome.

I got them from a guy in Maine said they were police rims I really don't know
