S/23 on CL - bad pics - 1500

From http://www.440magnum-network.com/info/cars/furygt/sport-fury-s23.shtml
The Sport Fury S/23 was designed to combined luxury and performance in a big car. Plymouth Fury S/23s powered by the 318 or 383 2-barrel V-8's were available with a 3 speed manual or an optional Torqueflite automatic transmission. 383 Super Commando powered S/23 came standard with a Torqueflite automatic transmission and dual exhaust. Underneath Plymouth gave the S/23 a front anti-sway bar and Rallye Road Wheels and a standard 3.23:1 axel ratio a 2.76:1 ratio was also an option.

Then again this brochure says you could order a 440 in the S/23 and I don't think you could.

Lovely how this stuff never seems to match.

318s do not have a transmission spec, so I'm assuming manual or auto available. 383-2 just says you can't order a manual with air. 383-4 says no manual. Correct?

Why couldn't air be ordered on a 383-2 manual?

Well, I've seen 70 Furys with a /6 stick and 70 Sport Furys with a 318 stick, so the question right now is...

Could you get a stick with either the 383-2 or the 383-4 and if so, could you get it in the S/23? (I think we are solid that all GTs were autos.)

You could get a 3 speed manual on a 383-2 and a 318 ........ All Gt's were 440's so that out.

In '68 through '70, you could get a 3 speed manual in....
A Fury /6 or 318.
A Polara (not sure about Monaco - too lazy right now to check) 318 or 383-2.
A Newport 383-2 only.

I wasn't there ok? I don't know these things and I can't find two pieces of paper that match.
