Maybe they are moving it out of the way to get the fire truck closer

Looks to me at the very far right is an open garage door. They are saving it from the eventual demise of the property. The other garage door is closed and looks to be forgotten with all the clutter. A few measely C bodies inside.
The wealthy have clout and can even turn firemen into a valet parking service. If it was a modest property with a modest income and modest classic car I doubt they would do this.

That is just incredible!!! I can't imagine what those folks truly must be experiencing!! That makes most of our lives problems seem pretty small by comparison.

Save and protect Human lives then property, the occupants are out of danger so you save what you can. Money doesn't matter, I've been in a lot of run down three deckers and every effort is made to save the property of the residents regardless of income. The men in the photo are not geared up to fight a structure fire, I believe they were checking for people and saving what property they could.

This the recent Cali fires?

Yep. My eyes haven’t stopped burning for two days. We are about 15 - 20 min from where it stared but out here that’s like a world away depending on the direction of the wind. The canyons were yellow or brown hasn’t rained in months. I was just laughing and telling Chris (azblackhemi) at the Fall Fling that Az got all our rain this last time around. It’s usually visa versa.

The cruise route we take thru the canyons to the ocean is pretty much nuked. I think where we all park on the PCH is a couple miles up from that nuke pic he posted. I heard it took about 8 hours to get from Zuma down to the ten. Just pure crazy. The winds were so fast, 50mph or so that nobody had any real time to flee. They bailed or got screwed. I saw a pic where the bridges melted, how do you get out when that kind of crazy is going on?

Here’s a few pics for perspective.
