It is a forward look car isn't it?

To my understanding the Forward Look models were the ones that started with model year 1957. This should be a 1955 which was termed the Million Dollar look IIRC:

Wasn't sure of the year, the desoto looked a lot like the 55 imperials of which I thought were the forward look!!. Learn something new everyday!

Thanks Kevin. I'm gonna go with the website devoted to the Forward Look cars ... pretty sure they know. I do use wiki but don't believe everything I read on there w/o supporting validation LOL

The forward look era includes all Virgil Exner styled vehicles, from 1955 through 1961. this includes the entire Chrysler corp line up of cars.

Was this term used in Chrysler Corporate publications Prior to 1957 ? My guess was no, while I accept this seemingly General Definition for the whole Exner design cycle.
