Shifter column knob

The shifter knob how can I take it off to replace it it’s a column shifter I want to replace the knob

If it's the plastic knob on the chrome lever, AFAIK, it is just glued on, and will twist off. The lever may have a locating spline that the knob has a corresponding slot for, but glue is the adhesive.

If it's on there strongly, twisting it off may ruin it, so plan on replacing it regardless!
