shocks

Gabriel gas shocks front and rear. If the rear end is dragging look at the ones with manufacture installed helper springs unless you choose to do new leaf springs.

Anybody make good rear air shocks for the self leveling suspension crowd?

i used monroe with overload spring on them seem to work fine on the rear

Have you got the air-ride option? I'm aiming to get mine working properly.

The rear air ride should be able to use any air shock. The sensor is in the arm bolted to the rear drivers side frame rail. The rest is making sure the air lines aren't pinched and that you have a working vacuum operated air compressor and a leak free (not rotten) reservoir (tucked under the drivers side in front of the leaf spring).

Rear air ride debuted in 75 on Imperials and then was optional on everything Chrysler (popular on wagons) until 78. I don't remember if it was available on Dodge or Plymouth...I don't recall ever seeing factory rear air ride on anything but an Imperial or a Chrysler.

Air ride suspension not available on a 440 with N95 Emissions Control system or N96 Emission Control System -High Altitude.
