Sick is as Sick does

With this group, I predict a mix of Waco and Jim Jones. I just hope that they stay out of sight of the media. I don't need any more gun grab opportunities.

Interestingly enough, there's a "gun totin'" church around here where they encourage the members to open carry. I know a guy who goes to this church. He's a dumb, clumsy SOB who I don't think needs to be holding a gun without supervision, and I'm assuming that most of the church goers are the same sine they encouraged him to carry. The guy I know wound up shooting him self within 6 months of owning a pistol. Claims he dropped it and it fired, which is hard to believe as the pistol is a drop safe gun. I'm guessing he was playing johnny bad-*** while trying his had at fast draw, which about killed him.

And this is the point that the liberals fail to realize. Evil will use whichever inanimate object their desire draws them to. The object is not evil the person is.

A lot of modern day liberals have a problem with the whole concept of abject evil. You cannot, as some of them have suggested, open a dialogue with the type of person hell bent on as much killing as they can accomplish. It seems liberals operate in a whole different state of reality than the rest of us. In my view such nonsense is dangerous, but I guess that is the price we pay for having a free society.

But a pickup truck blasting through the crowd of kids waiting to get on the school bus could.
2 things that seems to be a constant with all these mass shootings, from my prospective is they are all mentally unstable and win, lose, or draw they know they are getting way more exposure on TV by using a gun. The pick-up truck idea would work but would not end in a showdown or only make a 1-2 day blip on the news. Their mental state and the need for self validating exposure is why they choose the dramatic way of doing their deed. I am not really for limiting guns but, I am leaning toward if you have had to be evaluated or are under the care or have been under the care of mental health professionals you should be banned from weapon ownership. Same with teenage serious discipline problems and it's wiped away because of your eighteenth birthday. I think not

In respect to guns and cars I call it F'n fantasy land. I know it's with other things too but those are the ones that really grind my gears.

That's one of the more intelligent posts, worthy of discussion, but unfortunately this thread started with a bunch of fringe-group crap designed to provoke, not discuss.

And I notice the OP hasn't had much to say since dropping that Molitove Cocktail. What does that tell you?
