Hi,
I just finished decoding my body tag and I found some interesting things out about the car. Like that my car was built on Dec 15, 1964. But one thing that I was wondering about is my trim. My TRM numbers is L9B. Which translates to:
L Low Grade trim Bench (Buckets on Polara)
9 Special Order (Leather and special order)
B Blue Color
The reason I am asking because my car came with two sets of front seats and and a back seat the doesn't match the front.
My car is a 65 Polara 500 Convertible so what does the special order mean. If I order the Build record from http://www.chryslergroupllc.com/company/Heritage/Pages/Build-Records.aspx Will it tell me what was special about it?
Lastly what is the best way to remove about a 1/4 inch of undercoating from my body code plate. I had to scrape off undercoating over the screws and pull it off the body to read the numbers from the back. I figured I would clean it up while I have it off.
Thanks
Eric
