Sport Fury headlight doors

Do these C-clips go on the inner side post of the 70 SF headlight doors? Do they go before those V clips or after?

Also any tips how to get them on, if so? I can’t get them on for the life of me.

I checked both of my sportfurys and neither uses those c-clips. The V-Clip holds the square shaft section in tight and that is all that is used.

Phew. Thanks a ton Dave. Now I have to figure out where they go. Haha.

I wonder. Does it go on the hinge bolt for the other side?

Ok I think the C clips do go on the door rods. The V clips hold the motor rod in place.

Thank you. Yeah. I kinda figured that’s where they went. Now I just have to figure how to get them on. Such a pain. Haha

Well at least the bumper and valance is on. Needs some adjustments but I’ll get there eventually.
