If there is any silver lining with stay at home stuff, it’s that I am getting to some of the small detailed things on my car that have bothered me for some time.... next up, the missing emblem in the center of my steering wheel.

I have a 1968 300 with a tilt and telescoping steering column. Any pics you have of the emblem that is suppose to go there is definitely appreciated. Or any other inventive solutions you have are welcomed too.

Right now I have a rusty spot where I know something else once lived.

thanks!

@detmatt will have the rubber piece that goes on the hub of the wheel which is the same across the board. The emblem that fits in the rubber piece is specific to Dodge Plymouth Chrysler and Imperial, and is about an inch across. I think this pic is correct for 68:

Thank you guys for the advice and photos...

@detmatt, @Ross Wooldridge mentioned you might be a resource for obtaining one of these? I agree that oe with an imperial emblem will look better than what I have there now (which as a reminder in nothing :()

Thanks again!

FWIW, in my cars, before I sourced NOS emblems, I used the clear Chrysler pentastar from a mid 80s 5th Avenye steering wheel to put in the rubber part. Fits like a glove and NO ONE noticed. A little bit of double sided tape. It just pops out of the original wheel's covering.. I'll try to find a picture of it indtalled in my car, but in the mean time, here's a pic of the pentastar in a 5th Ave steering wheel.

I have one that was in the trunk of my '68. It's yours for $10 plus shipping if you want it.
I am in Missouri.
