Will makes a good point about an eye exam. One thing that tipped me off about my cataracts was excessive glare. Just saying....

If you take the windshield out, you could get some cool aviator goggles!

Just take some 2000 wet/dry sandpaper to it and it will dull as long as you don't wax it. You don't really care what it looks like any way so this is the easiest, cheapest fix without paying a lot for something in a spray can that won't cover with just one application. $3 bucks for the paper, the waters free and you can work in the shade of the trees so you don't work up a sweat. Then when you're done with the car the next owner can just buff the finish to where it use to be without bothering to take off all the $h!t you put on it previously. Barring these methods, just don't drive east or west when the sun's ahead of you.
