My recent CL acquisition, and first C body. 1969 300 in stunning Triple Pickle. Rust-free in the quarters. But, as i said in the earlier transport post, the trunk and front floors (at least) are a different story. Surprise! I dried them out and hit them with a wire wheel to reveal several rust-throughs. Paint looks good at 20 feet, up close shows many chips, discolorations, etc, but it's definitely livable. The vinyl not so much. The area at the bottom back glass is doing some bubbling and splitting from two or three quarter sized places, and is my primary concern as i think that's where my trunk water issue stems from. Seems to run, drive, and stop well, with the exception of a leak in or around the PS sector. I'll be going through as time allows, doing some documenting and a lot of leaning on the collective knowledge here. At present, priority is dealing with the water leak issues and stopping the rust. All advice is welcome and appreciated.
