The Comfort Tour

Here are some more pics of the house. I did the kitchen and then redid a couple of the cabinets last year that got damaged when a supply line sprung a leak when nobody was around. I also installed all of the cherry ply on the walls and built the niche where the TV is.

Amazing views, it's basically like being outside. I also did the outside railing and built a fair amount of the deck that has a serious cantilever.

Here's a good pic of the cantilever and that sculptured screen on the side patio is what we used as the backdrop for our ceremony.

Couple of shots of the screen which pivots to allow easier access to the deck.

That's called craftmanship right there! Being able to produce that kind of artistry with your bare hands makes 3D printing look stupid! A dying art Matt well done!
Thanks Dobalovr but Just to clarify, the screen is a signed piece and is vintage and that outdoor patio room was designed and built around it.

Did I mention that the tower with the window is actually what gives a parascope view from the floor of a 30 foot tall shower?

Yes, there's a mirror as big or bigger than the window mounted at an angle just inside it that gives you a view of the horizon to the west. So it's a sunset view in the winter but if the leaves are on the trees all you see is the trees. The shower head is a solid 18 feet from the river stone floor.

Really great shower, it's like your standing in a heavy downpour.

Everything is beautiful and unique. Tastefully done with a lot of visual interest.
But I can't deal with that bulging wall... :p
