The day after...

Guys,
This almost feels like the day after Christmas when you're a kid. I'd been looking forward to Carlisle for months. Now that we've done it's kind of like coming down off of cloud nine.

I need to get busy finishing the promoting for the annual motorcycle ride I host in mid August for the local domestic abuse crisis center. It hasn't been getting as much attention as normal thanks to getting the Duck ready for the trip.

It was great to meet those that were able to make it.

It's been a slow couple of days on the old Forum while y'all were out having a great time so have your naps and drink some coffee and get ready to jump back in the saddle please....

Only the second time at Carlisle but I must say I felt like it was bigger and better than my first trip two years ago. I'm looking forward to next year and hopefully doing two days and meeting some of you guys.

Pretty sure it was a much bigger show. Show field was packed, and unlike last year, all the vendor spaces were sold out. Last year there were alot of empty vendor spaces.

Thanks for those pics. I didn't get over to see the wing cars and I found out just before we left that a friend's car was there.... in process of repair. I had talked to them just 5 minutes before this car was kit by a MB SUV. They were behind me and I never saw what happened. I hoped there would be a pic or two somewhere. This was an original paint car.

That car had Mexican license plates on it. My friends and I wondered if it was sold like that in Mexico originally (I doubt it, but I wouldn't know for sure).

If it was a 4 door with hideaway headlights, that apparently was factory available in Mexico.
