The Formal Photo Thread

Dear Sirs, I am shocked! 5+ pages with Formal pics and just one Fury among them. What is the world coming to?

You wanted some Furies. I show you some Furies.

This brown and tan 74 III coupe was beautiful but we were too far apart on a non running, mold filled car. I wonder where she is now.

Yes, I remember that one. It popped up about a year ago. The color looks like Dark Chestnut. Did you manage to collect any VIN or fender tag data on it?

If I had known how important tags were 2 years ago I would of. Not a lot of options, 360, bench seat, am radio, manual windows/locks.
I had just found FCBO at the time of my inspection and taking the crowded garage pictures.

my 2nd 78 sunroof Salon ( now on my 3rd ). the silver roof was dyed burgundy by a previous owner.
Canadian 78 New Yorkers didnt have the little bumper corner guards that other markets had
that is Royal Roads in the background which was used as Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters in the Xmen movies

I had no.3 exact same , bought it at Patrick
Dodge in Saskatoon Saskatchewan., 3000 $ cdn used , had a great story the dealership owner had owned it. Whether it was true?
It was nice , but troubles , head gasket, then passenger glass shattered closing the door , seat latches screwed up. It also had compressor and auto height with air shocks. That screwed up too.
Too young and not enough knowledge to really deal with all those things.
I am better now just too old.

I have been letting my Brother or Son's take my New Yorker to the cruise nights. This damn thing gets more attention than my Charger next to it because know one knows what it is or someone's Grandma or Grandpa had one back in the day... lol

These were my two New Yorkers, pic taken right after I got the '78 home from where I bought it in Iowa. I had had the '79 for about six months when I took this picture. Enjoyed both cars, and sold the '79 not long after acquiring the '78 NYBS. The '79 went to Indiana. Buyer flew down from Indy and drove it home without any issues at all. The '78 ended up with a former friend, after I had sold it locally to a guy with a '68 Imperial coupe. Who knows what WTF happened to it after that...

This is the sole pic I have of the two together.

Whomever says "those will never fit in my garage!", guess what? You need a bigger garage! Right?

Nice cars, my New Yorker definitely won't fit in my garage. It is slightly full already. I keep it in my oldest Son's garage.

I have ways liked my Sea Bodies and have had many over the years, but I am not letting go of the rest of the alphabet though.

Made a trade deal for my 70 duster 4 speed project car with a 340 for this new yorker. Ive got several 70-71 dusters and ive always regretted selling my black and red 76 st Regis yorker now this isn't exact but it'll fill that void for a while! Gonna get a set of speedmaster aluminum heads hughes whiplash camshaft for low compression engines and intake and MSD ignition to ditch the lean burn and different wheels and some nice dark window tint while in her winter hibernation
