That's nothing, my 1968 Fury III that I bought for a hundred dollars in 1973 with leaking valve covers looked like that. Even after steam cleaning it I just said heh, and I didn't replace it until the early 80's after tearing up that side after doing some crazy reversing in a getting unstuck episode. That's not the power side anyways.
That's what it was...40 years ago.

She obviously does not know much about this car. In my opinion I would not walk away no matter how good it is. I would run like hell. After reading her profile It appears it ill be a gift that keeps on giving and not in a good way. The whole thing spells problem with a capital P
