Any tips on buying silver, either bullion or rounds, (small oz. pieces)?
What kind of strategy, and tools are used to find a dip in the price, and swoop in, and maybe buy 5K at a time?
I know nothing, any advice would be appreciated.

catch it on a day when the stocks are high, usually metals are down when stocks are up. bullion v. rounds v. actual denominations is almost up to you - they each have pro / con. bullion usually has the least markup fee. $ usually has the highest markup. but the minted $ has a face value, besides the metal value. rare or special coins may even have a premium beyond face value + metal value.

Use the correct paint code and have it mixed by a reliable paint supplier. A4 has a little green in it.....

This is the site I use, and ebay is the best place to buy. I prefer coin, you are paying the same for metal value, and most ebay sellers will dump it when it drops a dollar or two. No real value in post depression mintage beyond scrap value, most of the good stuff is long out of collections and either graded or off the market, but sometimes the sharp eye will get something good.
