Ok guys I don't know if you heard or read that Jeremy clarkson of Top gear got sacked for hitting his producer , I don't know if you get thar program in the ,States and if you do what do you think will happen to Top gear it's got a cult following in the Uk

Great show. Was told about it yesterday. Heard Netflicks is wanting to buy the show & continue on. Also that Hammond & James where sticking with Jeremy. They are not comming back to the show if he's out. Don't know about the Stig. That was Jermeys creation so his charactor will likely go too.

Yea clarkson is top gear The BBC has blundered big time there all in the PC brigade

Yep, one of the best shows on tv. The chemistry of those 3 is awesome. You just can't get that anywhere. It's like Tim Conway & Harvey Coreman. I bet it will work out. Once BBC comes to their senses.

On my race car where the drivers name is I put "The STIG". Have actually had a couple of people commit about it. Did it for fun. Also curious to see how many drag racers & fans in the states knew who the the Stig was.

The very first stig I thought it was Damon hill the F1 champ But it wasn't it was a racing driver but his name escape,s me It would be interesting to see who the current one is Ps he turned up at the hoses of parliament in a tank this wk with a 1 million signed petition

Heard about the suspension, didn't think they'd let him go. Bunch of idiots at the BBC. That show rocks/rocked. It's been set to record since I got a dvr. Hope it stays or comes back.

He was suspended but now he is gone and the show has been cancelled He will likely start up his own show who knows

Wasn't the first one a German Ralley champion.
No he was scottish Perry McCarthy a rally driver ,He wore a black suit was in it for 2 series And then a guy named Ben Collins took it on and ,The suit was changed to white ,There was a rumour that it was Michael Schumacher but that was never proven top secret hush hush .

There was a third Stig from 2010 to the present. His identity is unknown so far.

Perry said firing Clarkson leaves the show "damaged goods".

My opinion is to get all of the BBC show people contracts for the USA version of the show and get rid of the current USA show cast. There is no comparisson between the two. Heck if they did that I might get rid of my antenna TV and get cable again.

i like Top Gear OK and agree he makes or made the show .. the other two did round out a good threesome but it was all Jeremy .. He is an *** though but still made the show.

Jermey could be an *** at times. He kinda reminded me of Simon Cowell. Neither have a lot of patience for idiots. As for the USA version I like it too. Way different in many ways. Adam is my favorite even though he doesn't seem to know much about cars he sure does know how to have fun in one. I never like Rutt until that show. It just fits his personality better than the NASCAR stuff he has done.

Yea he had a big gob but he knew his stuff and he's also a good driver and funny aswell

Sorry to hear about this, its certainly one of the most entertaining shows on tv.

I was pretty sad to hear this . Ive been watching the shown for many years. My youngest is gonna ne ticked! You gy guys ever youtube the late 70's shows . Wow, radical difference.

I've been watching TG since the early 2000s and will miss it. It would be insane for the BBC not to at least try to keep it going -- by some measures it's hte most popular show in the world with over 350 million viewers -- but I probably won't watch a new version unless it's hosted by Chris Harris or Rowan Atkinson.

I especially loved their budget comparisons -- buy an Italian exotic for X pounds and then compete in tests.

Clarkson has always been overbearing but you get the sense that he has a good heart. He was the BBC's commando1.
