That's a very good place from my experience. I sent in a new fuel fuel pump, a Carter. Big long topic B Bodies Only on the crappy new mechanical pumps today that put out way too much psi especially for Edelbrock carbs even though they are rated at 5 or 6 psi and more importantly the spring pressure was like a valve spring [WAY too high] and resulting in pump rod wear. Anyways it is now rebuildable and they sell diaphragms and different spring pressures if needed. It's been great and no FPR needed. Parts look good Omni.

Here is the link on B Bodies. Mechanical Fuel Pump 101 from Then and Now.

G'Day,
An Ancient Idea But Possibly May Help Someone.
Many Years ago When We Had Hi-Pressure Fuel Pump Problems
We used a Simple Idea of Placing a T-Piece Before the Fuel Pump
and After the Fuel Pump
Then joining Them with a Short Piece of Fuel Line.
This Recirculated the Fuel Relieving the Pressure on the Needle & Seat.

So they take your original metal parts and re-vulcanize rubber onto them? Looks great. I should have saved my broken OEM motor mounts and had them re-cast since replacements are all made overseas.....

73Coupe,
I'm a Little Surprised!
Over Here in the Mystical Land of OZ
We've Been Redoing our G'Box Mounts for the Early Models
for About Thirty Years.
No Problems if the Fella Knows What he's Doing.
It Helps of Course that One of Our Members
Was an Engineer Who Made the Dies / Template / Whatever.
I'll be Danged if I Can Think of the Right Word. ( Molds Maybe)
Anyway it Works Quite Well.
And We All Shared the Initial Costs
So Eventually the Cost is Only for the "Molders" Labour

They do not work with thicker Torsion bars unfortunately. Or it's becasue the new torsion bars are not clocked. I'm not sure. But they don't work for me. :(

I had mine redone by them and unfortunately they are too soft in combination with my new Torsion Bars from FFI.

Left side: The rubber bottoms out on the metal part.

Right side: Is as it should be.
