Old Man with a Hat
We finally arrived home Tuesday evening after a week on the road for the Turkey run in Daytona.
Jazebelle did great, 1500 miles with no issues at all. (10K miles in the last year). The gas mileage dropped off with the new 3:23 gears. Trip average was 11 MPG, last year with the 2:92 was 15 MPG.
Asside from the obvious show and cruising a couple highlites was meeting Stan & Zack. Stan & I walked and talked almost nonstop friday night and saturday at the show. Great entertainment, I look forward to meeting again.
We left Daytona Sunday morning after breakfast at the shiny diner and a drive up the beach. We drove to St Augastine where we toured a old fort and saw a 600 lb cannon fired off. Then met Zack and his lovely wife at a Dairy Queen there.
Monday we had a late lunch in Savanna GA. A lovely Irish pub on River road in old Savanna.
Then a rainy drive home on Tuesday.
