If you want very few neighbours, then you will have to move to Montana ..
Very peaceful ... and they don't rent pigs there either. So the air is always nice and fresh

All this was over a cat. I don't have no choice but to stay put for now. See how things shake out.
My buddy just down the street lives in a single wide trailer. They built a big sub. All around him. He's surrounded by 2 story houses. He fueds with the neighbor behind him constantly. It almost got out of had 2 years ago. She took him to court. Judge threw out the case. All this was over a cat. I don't have no choice but to stay put for now. See how things shake out.
Well I moved out here in sleepy Youngville, NC 15 years ago. There won't much happening then. This has changed. Over the years they have built 4 sub divisions within 5 miles. 2 years ago they built a new high school 5 miles down the road. Last year they started on a 250 house sub division across from the new school. 4 months ago about 5 miles in the other direction they started on another large sub division. 3 months ago out on the highway that bypasses the town they started on a large sub division. This evening as I drive home from work I see this large for sale sign on the corner of the large wooded area that right next to me. As I got closer I could see a sold sign & 2 large earth moving machines parked in the edge of the woods. My heart sank. I knew what this meant. I called my neighbor & he confirmed. Sub division with 100 homes right in my back yard. He said they went to the lady who lives on the other side of the wooded area & offered to buy her out. He said you'll be hearing from them soon Bob. They want road frontage. He said Denise told them no. Where on earth would I go. It's like this all over central NC. It's like Miami in the 60's around here. It ain't gonna stop. Lots of large wooded tracks around here. The economy is strong here. The old folks are dying out & the kids are selling.
Wait a sec... I thought NC had been declared a ghost-state. Boycotted, shunned, left behind?
That was last month, silly...
he ground around me is owned by a timber company so I'm safe.
298000 net imigrants
It's everywhere ......how many more can we let in?
Yes, I also used to work in the Sahara Forest
This whole urban sprawl is world wide folks. In our small country we have huge net immigration numbers. Our biggest city of Auckland had 298000 net imigrants ( mainly asian ) within a three year period under our previous government. This is huge when the city had a population of just over one million at the time. Of course this was the beginning of the housing and infrastructure struggle that we will never get on top of. Average house price is now $980000 - fueled by overseas investors and human greed. It's a situation that we are all part of and need to adapt to the best we can.
Until

that's that ole Liberal media. We are a bunch of scum bags. LoL as far as I know it's business as usual except for a few entertainers that I had no interest inseeing anyway.Wait a sec... I thought NC had been declared a ghost-state. Boycotted, shunned, left behind?
Hum...I'll be right overI'm still amazed with the amount of green space here in Harford and Cecil counties in Maryland. Western Maryland is still wide open mountains with few people living in the western counties. Even though I'm only 35 from ground zero (Baltimore) it still seems like a world away. Love it here!
