A 1962 Chrysler I bought is having a vibration issue on the road; it drives well and smooth when I accelerate and as long as I stay on the gas while cruising, when I take the foot of the gas pedal at speeds higher than 40 mph, the car has quite a vibration, as soon as I touch the gas again, it goes away. It`s also not as bad or non existent at lower speeds.
I changed all four tires, wheel bearings are tight, the front wheels don`t move vertically or horizontally when I try to move`em by hand.

Any ideas on where to look next, does the fact that there is no vibration while on the gas point to a problem with the driveshaft or transmission/engine?

Thanks for the help

Marty
