Randy Becker driving D K Ulricks Chrysler Córdoba at Riverside Road Course in California in the 1982 Budwiser 400. A lot of times the NASCAR owner/drivers would make a deal with a road racer to drive on the the road course hoping for a better finish & pay check.

Wow, Thank You C Body Bob for all of your efforts in posting these great vintage NASCAR photos. These bring back so many great memories! Especially the USAC ones with No. 75 of Butch Hartman. We lived a block from the Milwaukee Mile.He was my fav at the age of 10. He ran the Daytona and in the mid seventies he had the Chargers with the Hemis. So many battles between him and Don White and Ramo, and in the mid to late Seventies with an up and coming 18 year old from Missouri named Rusty Wallace in his No. 66 Child's Tire sponsored Camaro or Firebirds. Also Boobby Unser would occasionally make an appearance in his bright orange 70 Super Bee. Great times!! Miss em.

1971 Daytona 500. The Ford & MOPAR teams had to revert back to 68 -70 non Aero cars because of the ban. It took a couple of races before the 71's where racing
