VON - 72 Monaco & 71 Fury CDN / US

i was looking at the body tags of my 72 Monaco and 71 Sport Fury parts car.
i had been told that the Monaco came from AZ and that the Fury was a Canadian car.
im wondering if its the other way around....

i see a C von on the Monaco - C17717 and no C on the Fury - 114555

am i right in thinking that the Monaco is the Canadian car and the Fury the US one ?

Yes. Monaco is coded for sale in Canada via the C and the VON code. The fury shows U indicating built for sale in the US.
