Hello all,

just wanted to put out a warning.
I wanted to install CARDONE SELECT 1336706 on my 66 T&C. This is the Master listed for 63 - 66 Chrysler power brakes and various other Mopar 60-66.
As you can see the position of the holes for the bolt for the retaining tang(?) are drilled in the wrong place... rotated about 30 degrees mainly. This prevents it from installing correctly with the original booster. Obviously new MC on the left, orinigal on the right.
I am not sure if all of those 1336706 master cylinders are done this way. I also do not want to bash CARDONE as I did not get in touch with them yet. I had this thing sitting around almost a year before getting to install it, so any exchange is way too late, wil just drill and tap the hole. Just a warning: check this when you get the part!

Well, the booster plate has a notch for that tang to fit in (if it is at the right place). And the MC I took off of car still had it installed, see picture.
So I assume, it stays on!
I will drill and tap, so I can use the new one.
