Mine isn’t either right now

I put the 300 back on the rack yesterday after the brakes felt like they were dragging. Turns out one of the dual piston calipers seized up.
After examining it, felt it was time to just go with new ones on each side.
Just waiting for the parts shop to deliver new calipers this afternoon.

Finally got around to installing a dual booster on my'66 300. It is the first phase of the disc brake conversion. Running drums for now. Will finish the rest of the job in a couple of weeks. Installed the dual master cylinder too.

Got my rebuilt brake booster back from John Stuart, installed in the 300, put in the master as well. Managed to get all 4 nuts on the interior firewall too! Only cut my head once on the e brake, new record! Decided to get in and clean up the trunk. Full of totes of extra parts and misc blankets and crap. Got out the old electric drill and wire wheel and dove in, literally. Looks really good, took out some old seam sealer as well. Got it roughed in, ready for paint, maybe one of those tartan, herringbone, checkerboard mats and a bowling ball bag. Also, found a decent tire for a spare, mounted it and installed in the trunk with the j hook and rest of stuff. My cardboard cover for the spare is junk, not surprisingly, so made one out of fibreboard, painted it with wrinkle paint, glued on some washers for extra support. Not restoration, but looks ok and functional.

Forgot the pics! The circular cardboard cover that goes over the spare has some sort of label on it. Any idea what it says? I have one carboard inside fender cover that is ok, plus the one that fits inside the inner fender behind the jack itself. The other two are toast. I have seen re pops of the over the wheel well covers but not the inside the fender one. Look pretty simple to make. Next is the fu$&@ power window motors removal and restore, (both drivers side windows are stuck in the up position) and waiting on delivery of another switch. I did get both power vents working though! Then we are pretty much done. Still waiting on a knee replacement (2 years and counting) probably need a new back after bending over the trunk, and working under the dash. Don't get old! Maybe a Robaxacet and a Bud!
Cheers, Cam Shaft

I put in seatbelts on Shamu.
I used bronze washers.
The previous owner didn’t install seatbelts so I had to locate the threaded holes. Everything went well.
I had to cut the retractable pieces on the outboard of the front seat, but it worked out.

I made cardboard quarter panel liners several years ago. Got a hold of large cardboard sheets and used the originals for templates. Trimmed them out, marked out the folds and used a straight edge to fold them correctly. a can of black spray paint and you can't tell they are not original. Did it on the dining room table.(except for painting)
