Don't sell yourself short. You are still true to liberal values. Traditional conservatives and traditional liberals have been forced into the same camp by circumstances to defend our democratic values that we share which includes free speech. In today's society you can not even suggest that gender fluidity is only a social construct without being labelled a hate mongering bigot. It may already be too late but you have no hope of fighting this without completely understanding the forces promoting this anarchy. Turning away in frustration yields the battlefield to the enemy.
Oh don't get me wrong, I work very hard to teach my grandchildren right and wrong. My children welcome it. But again it all boils down to putting the time into raising your children, not someone else. Being a parent is a job for the rest of your life. It does not end when they turn 18.
I've been down this road. Couple things happened on my son's bus he had a part in all of a sudden the calls start every time something happens on the bus. Finally ends with a broken window and principal calling my wife (because he knows that he does not want to deal with me). Long story short after threats that I have to pay for a broken window (yeah right! ever hear of insurance Mr. principal), I called, politely explained to the secretary than it is now 11am, if I do not hear back from said principal by 4pm on this Fri, I will be at school district admin building at 8 am Monday. He had let a bully terrorize the bus long enough, I did not want to be the complaining parent a first but now it was out of his control so I was going over his head. Problem solved. He called me before 4pm and told me how he fixed it, then I explained how it was going to be and how insurance works, and don't ever call my wife again.

Queer is not a gender either. A gender is what you have between your legs biological. And I can tell you, my wifes ex husband is Transgender (which makes sense if you define it,a dude who transitioned into a "woman"). This person has greatly messed up the 3 kids (2 autistic teenage boys who think they are "bi", an anxiety ridden 13y/o girl who attempted suicide last year and now tells us she is genderfluid). Those kids dont know where they belong and while going through puberty and having feelings which are completely normal, today's society has gone the direction that they google their "feeling" and put a label on it. Making it more than it really is. Can you Imagine how hard that is for me as a parent to have to do the schools work and teach them biology, history, civics and what not. All they do in school is **** and have pizza partys. And those topics I have to even touch with a 10ft pole to not "hurt their feelings" when i tell them how **** works.

That is the biggest problem I'm having with this... Kids don't really know what they want and can be influenced very easily. Telling them they are ______ (fill in the blank) because that's what Mom and Dad think they are is doing nothing to help them.
