I've thought a few times of getting a Corgi. The ones I've met have a big dog personality, just short legs.

with the short legs they are easier to catch when they get loose.

You should try to catch a Great Dane. Those long legs will really get them moving.

They tire out fast though.

I had a Husky/Shepard mix and every once in a while, a squirrel would catch his eye and he was off... He chased one up the big willow tree we had. He was going so fast he started right up the tree after the squirrel. He got about 8 feet off the ground, remembered that he was a dog and fell down. It was just like a cartoon.
