I am working on my 1963 New Yorker and i need 2 window lift motors for the rear doors. Is there a Dorman lift motor that will work? i tried the Dorman 742-300 and it does not fit at all. The motor on the one door has a number on it 1964028. If i can find a replacement for that motor i would go that route. but i find not thing on the internet. Any Help?

Possibly Tommy at parts hound might be able to rebuild the old ones.

The driver side also does not have motor or motor head, that is why i am looking to see if a Dorman lift might work.

I’m pretty sure they won’t. They’ll have the same pattern as the later Motors. Call Murray Park At the link I posted.
