Earlier, you said that the sunroofs are the same as in the old Mercedes and BMW's.
Do you know exactly the years, where they are the same?
Can you advise on what I would like to ask for parts of the sunroof from Germany?

The parts are Bosch parts , Jaguar used also those sunroofs from 1970-1979 I think

It wouldn't surprise me if parts interchanged, or at least were close enough to make it function again... the stuff all looks pretty much the same. Really good news would be... if you find the euro parts work good for you, chances are you can get them new for the car they came from at the dealer. MB has an obsolete parts program, but you may wait several years and pay dearly for them to come through with what you want.

actually was giving it a good push lookin for sway and if thered be rubbing on those tires...good 1 inch left and was pretty solid....think Tobias put some sorta feel firm product back there....cars gona be a fun rod...nice riding to

Why not the whole suspension is upgraded with firm-fell parts just to handle good.

Here's a link to BMW sunroof parts, there's good online catalog info available. However many parts marked as ended (discontinued).

Mercedes Benz on the other Hand has, at least in Germany a certified used parts program that can be ordered at the dealerships, but no experience from my side as to Prices and availability of the older parts.

The MB program is publicly available through their classic center... expect to pay and you may have to wait a while...

IDK if the local dealer still can order the stuff directly or not... I'm way out of date.

There are lots of junkyard cars to use if you wanted to figure stuff out that way... I wouldn't expect much help from the other brands in matching parts.
