Ok guys as many of you know I get around. I find my way into old car hoards & junkyard yards. Sometimes the stuff is not for sale. Other times it is but it’s full blown retail plus. Well one of my regular contacts that I’ve bought quite a bit from called me & said he had a 1957 Studebaker McCulloch super Charger. Wanted to know if I would be interested in buying it. He said it was buried deep in a van on his property full of old car parts & doesn’t want to dig it out if I’m not interested. He asked me what it was worth. I have no idea. Now I don’t need it but I’d like to rescue it & maybe one day I will need it. If not I can always sell it. Obviously neither of us know the condition. He said it came off a running car & looks to be complete. I’m just looking for ball park prices high & low at this point. Something to start with to see if he & I want to bother digging it out

Also he said he had a factory cast iron 63/64 Buick Nail head dual quad intake he said came off a Riviera.

Any ideas on value of this stuff will be greatly appreciate

Those superchargers required a host of additional parts for them to work. Special carb pressure chamber, ducting, idler pulley etc. Thats the harder stuff to find. Supercharger it self? Perhaps $125.00 if in good condition.
If the nail head intake is off a 401 or 425 it could be worth $150.00. Be care full. the smaller engine intakes wont interchange and aren't as desirable.
