WHAT ? Another 61 Fury restroation......

I'm working on the dash assembly. Everything is located and in place including the wire harness routing. Looks like I will need to locate a plastic "mirror" trim ring for the remote mirror control.

All will need to come back apart so I can repaint the dash frame.
The first repaint, done a couple of years ago is not up to standards.

Then I will install the dash and complete wiring harness. Going to be a big job but I am looking forward to it.

Great work Will.. excited for you.

I had to have my hood repainted for the 2nd time but the paint has a some pearl in it this time. He wants to redo the hood again. I told him its fine the way it is you are not doing this again . The hood was stripped to the metal
The paint was good but needed better preparation. I've stripped it to bare metal. and will acid etch the metal and then a acid etch primer.
Some filler primer and some more sanding. Then ready to paint and assemble.

Any more updates Mopars on the Mountain is less than 1 month away ( August 5, 2023 ) @ Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville I would like to see both '61s parked side by side

I've been dragging my feet on the posts for awhile. Lots getting done but not much to exciting to look at. I plan to mate the dash and wiring harness to the car tomorrow.
