Stan's trying to ruin us; I'm not following these links. :icon_hang:

This thread reminds me I need to get back to my 64 GTO & finish it. I have the original 389 powerglide. I converted it to a 4 speed and put a 428 & 4 wheel disc brakes on it.

Are this the vintage Hurst rims or a repop on your GTO ? Always liked them but they're said to be heavy as hell.

That's why I did not click the links, didn't want to be seduced. ;)

Originals. Yes heavy compared to other rims, cool though. The 428 in it pulled a 780 1/8 pass. I'll get around to rebuilding the 389 Tripower some day. The car is a factory air one as well.

is that a crack or is it just shale rust? it might flake right off. happens a lot from winter debris kicked up by tires.

it's a crack.......made sure of that when I looked at it. Guess it doesn't matter ANYWAY, cannot find a frigging place to store it. We need to find another house soon, I am tired of this

that didn't take long to sell! It was a '66 Charger, 383/4 spd console, dark blue, very little rust according to the seller. Price was $2500.

My guess is you'll see it for sale elsewhere real soon @ a much higher price.

That '66 Charger was a steal at $2,500!!!

Exactly, that one is a pos!

I still want it.
Haha. You wanna know what turd I want? The Dodge A100 for $2500 on ebay. Like you, I'm up to my eyeballs in cars, and still want more. Probably an undiagnosed sickness of some sort. Like some mission, each car purchase is supposed to end world hunger and bring on world peace in my mind somehow, it's that important :).

A few years ago I had a 66 383/4 spd car that was silver over red and nearly as solid as the blue one here but no engine or trans and I think I got $2,500 for it.
