Thank you Ross, I really appreciate it!@SportFury70 - WOW!! That is fantastic news of your transplant. I am so very happy for you!! Congratulations!
Since you will be in my home town Day 1 maybe a few of us members could meet up around your schedule. Several members live in and around Indy. Thoughts?I won’t be attending this year.. my son and I will be going on the hot rod power tour this year instead. This is only the second time I’ve missed Carlisle in over 15 years. The only other time was Covid. Looking forward to all the pics that will be posted.
Heck ya Dave.. appreciate the offer. We’ll be there June 9th. I have your number and we’ll reach out for sure..Since you will be in my home town Day 1 maybe a few of us members could meet up around your schedule. Several members live in and around Indy. Thoughts?

i was planning on attending this year, along with kevin mccabe and 4 others from ontario but in light of the
ongoing bluster we've all decided to cancel.
i am feeling pretty gutted by this but as a canadian i cant do it.
It was bad back in October!Probably ought to bump this thread to the top anyway...
For those of you coming down RT 81 through Syracuse, like from Canada, a little heads up. Rt 81 through the area is going through major re-routing and construction. It's going to be a real mess come time for Carlisle.
I suggest you detour around using Rt 481 north of the city and that will drop you south of the city and right back on Rt 81. I'm posting this a little early as it's bad now and will be much worse as summer progresses. I'll try to update this as we get closer to the date.
Would like to hopefully meet you if my doctors let me go this year. It doesn’t matter how the car looks they let anything on the showfield, I seen a couple of not so good looking ones before that I am sure are worse than yours.I will be in the show this year. Hopefully everyone doesn't mind a car that doesn't have perfect bodywork and paint.

I hope you've reconsidered. There is way less bluster, that is to say, there is none, if you don't watch CBC.
Absolutely nothing to negatively affect your experience going on in the US.
I attended a PDRA National Event that my Project Manager runs a Top Alcohol Dragster in, in North Carolina recently, no issues whatsoever.
Made sure I bought 2 bottles of Bourbon to declare when we returned.
If my upcoming wind project is finished in time, I'll be there with our 71 Imperial. Not holding my breath but we'll see.
Kevin
i had been reconsidering but it doesnt matter at this point, ive blown my summer budget on a car so extra travel isnt happening anyway. since i go to ontario every summer it made sense (heheh) to buy a car n keep it there.......
i will be doing my usual august freeloading off kevin mccabe in windsor and we will be at moparfest.
hopefully with my new car, a loaded 79 360 lebaron coupe
Doubtful it will be any "less perfect" than my '59 DeSoto Fireflite I plan to bring and show. It sat on a driveway for 30 years prior to me owning it, so there's faded paint, blankets over the seats, and the headliner is disintegrating. But it runs good and is fun to driveI will be in the show this year. Hopefully everyone doesn't mind a car that doesn't have perfect bodywork and paint. I'll just be happy to be there and meet everyone and learn a thing or two.
More details on the '67 New Yorker at the edge of the photo? What color is it? It looks kind of like it could be brown and I have seen very few in brown. We had one growing up as seen in my profile pic.Absolutely! Don't let a perceived lack of perfection discourage you from entering. Our wagon is down the road and around the corner from being perfect, and it took home a Celebrity Choice award the first time we took it.
Kevin
