Wtb LH thread lug studs

We had this discussion before. While 70 was the last year there was a carry over into early 71 cars

Everybody should buy one box and put it away.
Someday before you die you may need one badly.
The remainder will have outpaced gold bullion....

Just got off of phone with Dorman.

Discontinued.

So, who's wealthy out there.

No they are available, you gotta search BUT changing to RH wouldnt be difficult, i like originality, even LH threads

Why wouldn't you? That was my first thought.

well partly because I wanted to avoid replacing 10 studs and also because there is something kind of quirky about it that this is a car from 1964. I liked that it was different...even in a small detail as this.

Since I feared converting to RH I found that the rear studs are "riveted" to the drum and will not simply hammer out of the drum...what is the process to remove these?

Same way the rest'll get broken if you take it to 'bout any tire shop in todayz world. The last LH lug waz 40+ yearz ago. When'z the last time you saw ah 55-60 year old doin' tire swapz. One ah my kid brotherz iz '61 and he took a 5 foot long cheater pipe to the left rear before I could catch and stop him.

well I broke one...big mistake. no big deal while I replace brake parts but the time has come for me to put stuff back together and now I'm met with this obstacle.

for reference, this is a close up of the front drum.

and the rear drum.

mine are a little different than the link I posted but same thing. For the rear, is this something that can be DIY or do I need to take it somewhere?

The way I would do it is pretty close to the method they describe.
