Funny how Nick's going all on about a PCV valve, I don't see one anywhere... anyone else see one?
Oil burning problem on a engine someone else built? I would of torn down the engine right away even before putting it on the Dyno let alone running it numerous pulls. But then again that may not make good Tube content.

Content is what that was all about. If there was a PCV, it was in the fill cap that was removed.

Yeah I re-watched a little after I posted it and he wanted the owner to disconnect the PVC but owner had already removed the engine but the way Nick kept going on about it and the baffle was kind of moot as the way he received the engine and the baffles with no PVC working really is meaningless. He's funny at times, at least the Tube auto generated closed caption's is getting better as some of what he says is like WTF.
Roadunner and the caption said PCB for PCV. Watch him try to say Polara, it's funny.
The part about him having to jack hammer the oil pan off should give you a clue as to the quality of the build.(his pet peeve)

That pan was a joke. An amateur put that on.

NO PCV valve as presented, as the rh rr cap it goes into is not there! Valid point on the non-baffled pcv in the aluminum valve covers, or most any aftermarket valve covers, for that matter.

Over the years, I have known of guys who put the fancier/racier aftermarket aluminum valve covers on an engine and suddenly it is "burning oil". The aftermarket makes a little baffle to stop that, but most ignored that fact.

Sometimes, Nick can get a bit "talkative" if he is trying to prove a point. I can deal with the pronunciation of certain words due to his Canadian location and such. Just a normal thing, to me. NOT something to denigrate somebody for, because their heritage might be different than what we might be used to ourselves.

Poor assembly quality should always be noted, for educational purposes. Even IF the intent for what was done was to "make it better" in the eyes of the builder.
