OK, I hate LineX....

Yes the prep work sucked, that's for sure!

Yesterday I filed a complaint with the BBB, and I also put a negative "testimonial" on the corporate LineX page. Guess who contacted me today through E-mail....Canadian Regional Manager for LineX.

We'll see where this goes....Guess I got their attention finally!

It shouldn't of went this far to get their attention...

hopefully they'll do the right thing.

Now that you have had this for a while now, how many are you up to?

All 240,000 colors. I don't have it hooked up that often so instead of setting the
different color parameters the unit just continuously rolls through the spectrum. I just chuckle when I see it and think of you. I bet you would take a hammer to it if you rode with me and night. LOL!

I have more respect than that.
I would just hang a little disco ball from the dome light and wear my Nehru jacket.

I lived in Michigan back then and am a charter member of D.R.E.A.D .... (Detroit Rockers Dedicated to the Abolition of Disco). I still have my card.

Was the whole application done by the Company or did they only sell the material ? Not quite clear.
Companies in general like to blame it on application if it's done by another Party.

All done by them. I even met with them before so they could inspect the box....they gave it the thumbs up! Day before the appointment I scrubbed the box with SOS pads, and then degreaser.

Well with family visiting and stuff....I missed a message from Wayne, the owner of Trademasters, and LineX franchisee, yesterday.

I'm assuming He is all bent out of shape because I went above his head and filed a negative Testimonial on the corporate site. He says he will do absolutely NOTHING for me. He also basically said since I did not like his "solution" of gluing back down the liner, then I got what I deserved!

All I can say is WOW. Talk about an extremely unprofessional individual.

I have sent another e-mail to the Corporate regional manager about this. We'll see what they say.

I once went to a tire shop to replace tires on my Van, they broke a wheel stud. The manager basically said tough and nothing they would do about it. He insisted there was no owner or above him manager so I was SOL. I called the Townships Tax office and got the owners name and number, called the owner and told him my position. He took my name and number and said give him ten minutes.
The manager called me back within those ten minutes and I got my wheel stud, in hand of course, I didnt want them working on it again.

Be persistent brother !!

That is just pure BULL **** !!!! that they will not redo the whole bed !!! :elmer:

I was just checking out their products to see what they are all about and they seem pretty proud of their product so much as they coated a whole 18 wheeler and a brand new Camaro with it. I thought they both looked like crap but that's me. Make a youtube video of what is happening to your installation and see if that will also get their attention. I attached a youtube videos for you to see but there are a whole slew of them out there.

So I had a brain fart !!! (in other words a BURP) and did some digging around and found this .....

So we believe in protecting our customers....until we have their money. Huh?

I would check with your attorney generals office, probably online, and see what the state/provincial law is workmanship warranty is. Where I am it one year from completion. Add that with the manufacturer warranty and call the corporate office and ask for the marketing VP. he can't help, but Will rat out the right person. And promise him they are your new favorite hobby.

A "nationwide lifetime warranty", eh? Tell you what I'd do, were I in your position...Call your local TV station and talk to their "Consumer Ripoff" reporter. I guarantee when the business gets a camera in their face and a little reporterette is sticking her mic up the manager's snout, they tend to sing a different tune! A friend is a cameraman for one of the local stations, and he is usually the guy that does the camera work for these features at this particular station.

Thanks for all the info, links and advice everyone. Yes this is a whole lot of BS! Someone else, on another forum, suggested a Youtube video of what is been going on. ;)

I will see what the regional manager says first. If no resolution, then I will be in contact with the media, we have a couple consumer "rip off" type agencies.

I will not be leaving this alone...they have messed with a very persistent consumer who won't back down!

I work as a manufacturers rep for a window and door company, and can tell you that I ternary the minute you promise legal action it freezes all mid level managers in place. They need to inform their supervisors and collect all possible communications for the impending action. If you contact the sales or marketing manager instead they will get the right person involved for the simple reason of protecting their efforts. Just my .002
