Maybe get some color correct turquoise paint mixed up for you and in some spray cans after some sealing primer.

Love the car Stan, saved a copy in my slabby file. Great photo against the blue sky.

What is the correct appearance for the trunk in '67? I can't remember.

I remember my Dad's '68 having black splatter paint. I would assume the 68 was the same.

The trunk floor in my 300 was a little scaly, but pretty solid. The body shop suggested they spray bed liner in my trunk. If I had thought more about it, I would have had it tinted to be closer in color.

Personally I'd skip the coating, strip it from looking at your photo's, and do it in body primer and body color

No. I have to use POR-15 in the process. It's ingrained in my mind through great marketing that the Earth's mangnet poles will reverse 180°. I will not be responsible for us having RH drive.

Everything I do now, I have this damn thought, "What would Will do?"...
Pisses me off no end. LOL!!

Well ....... If it helps, what I would do is scrape and brush all the loose rust .... then apply a rust converter to any rusted areas. Then follow up with your por15 and finish however you like.

I don't think you want to use a rust convertor with POR-15. Use one or the other, but not both.

I've used Rustoleam rust convertor spray with good results. I've also used POR-15 with good results too.

One other thing I did was buy some cheap black carpet on Ebay and cut a new carpet using the old mat as a template. Yea... the edges aren't finished, but it still looks real good, especially with the black tire cover I bought. I'd take a pic, but the trunk is full of dash and interior pieces right now.

you could probably talk to an upholstery or carpet shot and get the edges bound pretty reasonably John
