If the heater servo is damaged, you can take this one from Mercedes Benz, its same part.

I knew that Mercedes used the same servo module...but did not kknow you could get them remanifactured with Aluminum bodies. That was the biggest failing point on the original mopar units, the bakelight? bodies. They would crack and send coolant into the electronics and wiring.

And $450 shipped is a decent price. Few years back a guy was reman'ing them for close to $900.

If you really want to learn a lot of German swear words, go over to benzworld.com and do a search for "autotemp II"

The folgers can?

Just kidding. It's a crazy looking contraption though. These cars were so far ahead of their time it's ridiculous. Auto temperature control, auto headlights, self dimming headlights. Unbelievable.
Don`t forget the headlight wash/wipe option

Believe it or not I was refered to this website from New Yorker on line and seen this blog. I have personally known the owner of the Imperail "For Sale" and he is honest and accurate in his description. Perhaps too picky, describing it honestly. His brother in law called it the "Bannana Boat" even though we own similar cars. He also owns a Very Nice '72 Town and Country wagon (green w/wood grain) etc. He has a wealth of Old Car knowledge and is extremely "down to earth". I own a '59 Imperial Custom Coupe, '78 NYB St Regis Coupe, '79 NY'r , '70 Plymouth Fury III Pursuit and a '69 Grand Prix.

I've got two for sale take your pick....
1973 chargerSE Brougham
1974 Dart Swinger

I do want to see some pics but I always think 70 Challenger with a sunroof would be great. 3rd gen Chargers aren't my favorite, although a buddy of mine just sold a '73 or 4 Charger with a sunroof that was triple black big block and I liked it a lot. What color is yours?

Welcome aboard!

We would sure like to see the Mopar's you have. Sounds like a great collection of nice cars.

Welcome, Pete. I'm "SLP" from over at The Group that extended the invitation to everybody there. Damn shame how The Group has been going down the toilet of late.
Thanks for checking us out.

That Black Imp will do for sure. I would like a 2 door 1969 or 1970. I can pretty much deal with any color except dark green.

I'm taking that black Imp. Dont try to stop me. Resistance is futile...

Matt is that a Detriot accent?

My spelling is impecable when I'm on my Ipad, maybe not so much on my old desktop!
The Detroit accent may not be appropriate on a family site such as this!
