I'd drive the sheet out of that but not for 10 grand, uh uh no way.

I'd drive it but as nice as it looks I wouldn't want it....

NO power windows.... And did I forget to mention that I am lazzzzzyy.... :)

Oh,, and whoever does get this will not be coming on here asking which
header for a '68 ...... :) :) :)

First off, you'd have to see what's underneath the car, and look for rust, body work and accident damage. Then assess what works and what doesn't.

Who knows what's been done to the engine, I can see a high rise intake, electronic ignition and headers.
I would want to do a test drive, but if you are in Germany, pay to have someone inspect the car.

Generally though, it's a cool looking car, you could recoup some Euros on the 6 pak, I don't think it's priced too far out of line really if it's solid and runs well.

Well I´m looking for a 69-71 300 or a nice 69-73 imperial anyway, but this one arose my attention
with the tnt engine

The trouble with cars like the one listed above is that for the last ⅓ of its life, owners have neglected the crap out of them maintenance wise and have only been keeping up appearances on a budget.
As soon as you get it home (too late now) one by one you find item after item needs to be repaired and the cash register starts ringing.

Stan, I've deleted four other responses

If you (the collective) C body owners don't even value these cars, why should anyone else? Yes, it takes money, sometimes a LOT of money, to bring these cars back to life but it beats the alternative and they are worth it.

I'm always one for being a cheap *** and I also know I'll never get back what I have into my Polara. That said I think the rub is that non C body guys (non Mopar) scoop up these cars for pennies and try to sell them to fund a child's college education. A slight exaggeration, but you get my point. I wouldn't pay 10k, but what is reasonable, 5-6k, 6-7k? A guy came here with his (70?) Fury wagon and tried to sell it for 10k, sold it to a guy who resold it, and was asking only $2900, right around what he paid. There seems to be more of a gap between the price sellers want and the price we can get for selling than with A body cars.

I don't disagree with you Doug but the fact is that these cars are selling for less than that currently.

So bittersweet is for sale for about the same price? Tell me when to get my plane ticket.
Not one person yet has stepped up to the plate and said, I will buy your car for $X right now. Zero, zilch, nada.
I just proved my point.

I have to agree with this comment.
a buyer needs to have the ability to comb over the entire car before laying any money down.

If the seller doesn't like you having the car checked out then you need to walk away or offer a lot less money.

I believe that we do value these car but differently than the typical collectibles on the market. The c bodies are one of the few model code car that old car enthusiasts that can afford compared to the big money cars.
We do have to be careful how much we bash our fellow sellers but I do agree with Stan's comments & the typical flipper won't get the money they are asking unless the car has been verified as a true survivor in great condition or dipped into a bucket of brand new.
It's because they don't know their market. end of story.
Just think of how many C bodies have gone across the auction blocks say at BJ or Hemmings only to be sold at a fraction of what was invested by the seller.
It's a great bonus for the buyermind you & we have to keep this in perspective when it comes to critizing the cars for sale.
I don't care what make or model it is that is for sale and if someone is willing to pay some stupid amount of money for a car then let them. It's their money and their loss if they decide to buy a C-Body.
One day they will be worth more. trust me on this....

After we are all dead!!

After blowing the pics up I would tend to value this car at less also, that paint looks roached on the rear.Originally I thought it was a cool factory color and decent paint job.

If the interior was A-1, and the paint was good, ran and drove good, I would say $8500 all day long. Needing a repaint, to me, would knock off about $3000-$3500.

Cruise and PDL/PW would have been nice options as well.

The 6 pack may or may not be worth something, the description was vague.

Car is really great looking with the magnums...deserves a closer look for sure. Agree that 10k is high..if it's clean undernieth I don't think 7 grand is overpaying.. A/C and headers people!!
