...If you (the collective) C body owners don't even value these cars, why should anyone else? Yes, it takes money, sometimes a LOT of money, to bring these cars back to life but it beats the alternative and they are worth it.
I believe that we do value these car but differently than the typical collectibles on the market. The c bodies are one of the few model code car that old car enthusiasts that can afford compared to the big money cars.
We do have to be careful how much we bash our fellow sellers but I do agree with Stan's comments & the typical flipper won't get the money they are asking unless the car has been verified as a true survivor in great condition or dipped into a bucket of brand new.
It's because they don't know their market. end of story.
Just think of how many C bodies have gone across the auction blocks say at BJ or Hemmings only to be sold at a fraction of what was invested by the seller.
It's a great bonus for the buyermind you & we have to keep this in perspective when it comes to critizing the cars for sale.
I don't care what make or model it is that is for sale and if someone is willing to pay some stupid amount of money for a car then let them. It's their money and their loss if they decide to buy a C-Body.
One day they will be worth more. trust me on this....
After we are all dead!!
