The proceeds of this sale are going to my father, an 84 year old pensioner who really needs to get the most out of this car. This car was supposed to go to me, I have always loved it and hoped to be its next caretaker but my dad needs the funds more than i need the car. Perhaps someday i will be in a position to buy it back.

I agree, you're asking 18, got a real $15, what are your chances of getting more vs maybe losing your $15 buyer?
I know if I was that person, being shopped against, if you took too long to decide, my offer might go down or go away.
For $15 that guy has a lot of purchasing power in the C-body market, he/she could easily get distracted by some other car.

he can get 15k $ for it from a European buyer.Some ones head is in the clouds. Must be a left coast thing..
I've been around the block, likely several more times then you. My views are based on reality.
It seems to be a nice driver, has a BB and is converted to hidden headlights.
Overall condition is nice enough so that people will appreciate it

Tell him about the Carlisle show....he may not know about it. Would be very cool if that car showed up at Carlisle.
