Nice color combo on that Lincoln Stan!

Where's the rest of it ? :poke:

it's got tons of head room for such a small car and decent leg room not the greatest... but it's the car that got me to save a ton of money (too damn reliable) after i paid it off, to buy my chrysler 6 years later, i aint complaining much

Great looking Weekly Driver, Stan!

Allthough, I'm pretty sure you and your wife feel the NEED to drive it everyday for a few weeks at least...

With a new car like that, I know I would!

what is up with FCBO?
Everybody is soft and friendly?

The drive is missing.

Hey Stan, I think your new daily is an ugly turd.
Really.
But don't worry thats the way I think about all modern cars

I refuse to buy cars with catalytic converters

I agree 101% with you Carsten.
BUT......
The Chief Executive Officer disagrees (and for valid reasons) with both of us.
Rank has its privelages. :D
I don't mind being second in command and driving a ratty 40 year old second hand car.

I like the new ride... In a decade or so when the value is sub-$5k maybe I will get one too. Otherwise, I think I can keep the old heap going that long... maybe longer.

Like I said when BitterSweet went up for sale, once it finally left the plan was to trade in Pamela's Rx-8 for something that could accomodate both our needs. Here it is. New '16 Lincoln MKS Elite. ☺

I see you are back from the dead, Stan! Nice Lincoln! My new daily is an '09 Nissan Altima...I relegated the Country Squire to weekends and the occasional Lowe's run!

With 260 km on the 07 Charger the time came to update my DD. The Charger is still serviceable and will be passed to my oldest daughter for her short commute to work in the city. I know the history of the car and that it has been well cared for. I've always wanted a pickup but was never a fan of the extended / crew cabs and 4X4s that seem so popular today. Also this will not be a "work truck" rather its' main function will be as a commuter vehicle and doing all the usual weekend warrior stuff. So with the 16's being cleared out of the dealership lots I jumped at this one. Sits just a bit higher than my old Charger LOL. The salesman told me that 40% of trucks sold are black. I'm not a fan. I took delivery this morning and already christened it with a dump run and a trip with my daughter to a packed outlet mall for fast food. It performed admirably.
