Will the components from a 72 Newport swap to my 65?
Just found a possible disc brake donor.

I thought this was discussed in another thread, the only problem was the rotors lack of availability but now companies are making them and they are more reasonably priced. You want to use the spindles for the disc swap right?

I do not remember seeing a thread where LCA and UCA interchangeability is discussed.
I want to know if the 72 arms are the same as my 65.
If they are, I will do the extra work when grabbing the brake swap parts to remove them and save them as spares.
Could you point me to the thread? Thanks.

Upper and lower control arms are all the same 65 to 72.

I'll grab those and can tighten up the LCA pivots and plate them prior to starting the job.
